Tickets to this program should be purchased directly through the Noguchi Museum Free with museum admission $10, $5 students and seniors In a mask designed by legendary artist Ralph Lee, Zendora will perform among the elegant and serene sculpture of Isamu Noguchi – a contemporary of butoh founders Tatsumi Hijikata and Kazuo Ohno. NANCY ZENDORA established the Zendora Dance Company in 1977. Her work synthesizes Eastern and Western aesthetics, is known for its delicate and sparse aesthetic. The New York Times calls Nancy Zendora, “A choreographer with a special sense of ritual magic.” |
